Medieval turreted brooch. Circa, 13th-14th century AD. Copper-alloy, 27mm x 20mm, 4.7g. An annular brooch with a wide frame and six turret type settings. The lower edge of the frame has a lip or skirt detailed with incised lines that protrudes forming a band of decoration. Ref: Egan & Pritchard, Dress Accessories, 1150-1450. p.253-257.
